Some members of the Republican Party fear that US President Donald Trump may “capitulate” on Ukraine.
The Washington Post writes that.
“Trump will show that he has ended the conflict. But he will capitulate,” one of the Republicans told the publication.
According to him, in this case, Moscow will get what it wants in the issue of settling the Ukrainian conflict.
It is noted that some of Trump’s appointees, including the candidate for the post of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, can help change the situation in favour of Russia.
Earlier, journalists of The New York Times expressed the opinion that Trump came to power at the most dangerous time for Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
