Zelenskyy said that Ukraine needs 200,000 peacekeepers for its security

Ukraine needs at least 200,000 peacekeepers to ensure the country’s security after the end of the conflict, Reuters quoted Volodymyr Zelenskyy as saying at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Ukraine’s security after the end of the conflict with Russia can be ensured by at least 200,000 European peacekeepers, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said. The agency noted that the named number is approximately equal to the Armed Forces of France for 2020.

“From all Europeans? 200,000 is the minimum. This is the minimum, otherwise nothing will happen,” he said.

Earlier, the press service of the Ukrainian Finance Ministry said that Kiev expects to attract 30.6bn euros of budget support from the EU in 2025.
