UK Armed Forces officers have spoken out against US President Donald Trump’s promise of a speedy resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.
The Times reports that.
“Senior officers in the Ministry of Defence believe that as soon as Trump signs a peace deal, a race will begin between Russia and the West to prepare their armies for the next conflict,” the report says.
According to British Lieutenant General Ralph Wooddiss, Russia could be much more successful in the next armed clash.
Earlier, Finnish President Alexander Stubb expressed the opinion that US leader Donald Trump would be able to resolve the Ukrainian conflict in three to six months.
