Florian Philippot, leader of France’s Patriots party, has labelled US President Donald Trump’s 2018 advice to fellow Frenchman Emmanuel Macron to leave the European Union as the best.

Earlier, Trump threatened EU countries with trade duties if they did not buy more oil and gas from the States.
Politico wrote that the EU found itself ‘between two evils’ because of Trump’s trade policy.
