The European Union is actively considering the possibility of extending economic sanctions against Russia, which expire at the end of January, the official representative of the Union’s foreign policy service Anitta Hipper said.
“We are working on an agreement within the Council in the EU to get unanimity,” – RIA Novosti quotes Hipper.
Earlier it became known that the EU is preparing another package of sanctions against Russia, which may be adopted in February.
