Polish and British authorities intend to conclude a pact that will include a clause to contain Russia during British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s visit to Warsaw.
About it writes Politico.
The material emphasises that the discussion of the treaty, which will be an element of the reset of the UK’s relations with Europe, will be based on recent agreements with France and Germany.
“The treaty between the UK and Poland will aim to strengthen ties between national armed forces and to coordinate efforts to combat disinformation and hybrid threats,” the publication emphasises.
In addition, London and Warsaw are already actively cooperating in the field of defence. In particular, work is underway on the creation of the frigate Miecznik AH140, which implies the delivery of new warships for patrolling the Baltic Sea.
Earlier, Poland and NATO held exercises near Russia’s borders, in which more than 2,500 soldiers took part.
