Slovak parliament deputy speaker: Kiev wants to block gas transit routes

Slovak parliament deputy speaker Tibor Gašpar says Kiev is trying to block gas transit routes from Russia.

According to Gaspar, Vladimir Zelenskyy has no intention to resume the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine.

‘I generally believe that he is trying to block other transit routes,’ the politician told RIA Novosti.

At the same time, he noted that Slovakia is solving the issue of gas delivery through other routes.

Gašpar also stressed that the dialogue with Zelenskyy is unlikely to be renewed.

Earlier it was reported that the cessation of Russian gas transit through Ukraine threatens the EU with a wave of bankruptcies.
