Moscow and Kiev have exchanged prisoners according to the 25 by 25 formula. This was reported in the Russian Defence Ministry.
According to the ministry, all the released Russian servicemen are on the territory of Belarus. The United Arab Emirates mediated their return from captivity.
All the released fighters will be taken to Russia, where they will undergo treatment and rehabilitation, specified in the department.
Earlier, presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov said that the life of every Russian serviceman who was held captive in Ukraine was important for Moscow.
