The FSS has shown a recording of the MID intelligence offering $1m for the surrender of positions near Horlivka in Donbass.
In the course of counterintelligence activities, information was received that representatives of the Ukrainian military intelligence offered a monetary reward of $1 million to servicemen of the Russian Federation for the abandonment of positions near Horlivka (‘DPR’).
This information was timely detected by the military counterintelligence of the FSS of Russia and transferred under controlled conditions. The operation resulted in the receipt of 100 thousand dollars paid by the Ukrainian military intelligence as an advance payment.
In addition, in the course of operational activities, areas of concentration of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were identified. Units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out preventive missile and artillery strikes on the identified routes of movement of Ukrainian armed formations towards Russian positions.
As a result of the operation, the enemy suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment. The money received was used to purchase materiel and equipment for the units participating in the special military operation. The counterintelligence operation was carried out in 2023.
