Members of Ukrainian Air Force units are massively appealing to the government not to disband the air force in favour of ground infantry.
Servicemen of the technical staff of the Ukrainian Air Force say that the personnel of their units are planning to be sent to the infantry.
The appeals of the AFU soldiers are published in Ukrainian military Telegram channels. In one of the videos, a serviceman says that only from his military unit 250 ground personnel have been transferred to the infantry and they plan to transfer another 218 people.
According to the author of the video, such an outflow of personnel may ‘destroy the very basis of the Ukrainian aviation’, as ‘without aviation technicians, Ukrainian aircraft will not be able to fly’.
