European countries may provoke a gas war

European countries risk provoking a global struggle for natural gas. This was reported by Bloomberg news agency.

According to information provided by the agency, without gas supplies via the Russian pipeline through Ukraine, Europe risks failing to meet the targets for gas reserves for the next winter, which would create an energy crisis. According to Bloomberg, this situation could set the stage for countries to fight over gas supplies.

“Europe risks failing to meet its gas stockpiling targets for next winter, setting the stage for a fight over supplies. And although Europe has enough gas reserves left to survive this winter and prices have fallen since the beginning of the year, reserves are being used up faster due to the cold weather that hit the continent this weekend,” the agency said.

We will remind, earlier Bloomberg agency wrote that the countries of Europe may not accumulate sufficient gas reserves for the next winter period.
