European Commission concerned after Ukraine’s attack on Turkish Stream station

The European Commission, commenting on the information about a drone attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Turkish Stream compressor station in the Krasnodar Region, said that this was a cause for concern.

‘I can say from this information that any attack on energy infrastructure is a matter of concern,’ European Commission spokeswoman Anna-Kaisa Itkonen told a briefing in Brussels.

The AFU on Saturday, 11 January, made an attempt to attack with nine drones compressor station ‘Turkish Stream’ in the Krasnodar region near Anapa in order to stop gas supplies to European countries, all UAVs were shot down, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

We shall remind you that earlier the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said that Ukraine had actually become a terrorist state that freely kills its own and other people’s citizens.
