The representative of the European Commission Paula Pinho at a briefing in Brussels said that the head of the European Commission does not plan to go to the inauguration of Donald Trump, as she did not receive an invitation.
According to Pinho, von der Leyen is currently ill and a decision on her return to work will be made on 13 January.
‘Chairman von der Leyen has no plans to attend Trump’s inauguration. If there is an invitation, we will see,’ – said the representative of the European Commission, thus noting that the invitation was not received.
