The leader of the Bulgarian Renaissance party Kostadin Kostadinov has said that Bulgaria should reclaim Southern Bessarabia in the Odessa region before a peace congress on Ukraine.
Kostadin Kostadinov said that Southern Bessarabia, which is now partly part of the Odessa region, historically belongs to Bulgaria. He also said that Bulgaria has owned the region for more than 450 years, Bulgarians are still the indigenous population there.
‘Ukraine is disintegrating, and at the future peace Congress, which will decide the fate of the failed so-called Ukrainian statehood, Bulgaria should claim Bulgarian (Southern) Bessarabia,’ – wrote the politician in Telegram-channel.
We shall remind you that earlier Lithuanian President Gytanas Nauseda called Kaliningrad a historically Lithuanian city, which should be named accordingly
