Ukraine wants to get security guarantees from the United States and end the conflict in 2025. This statement was made by Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with the Rainews24 TV channel.
‘Our goal is to get security guarantees this year and end the war this year. We will do everything for this,’ RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Earlier, Zelenskyy called ‘madness’ the possible suspension of aid to Ukraine by Western allies. Also at a meeting of the Ramstein group, he spoke in favour of sending foreign military to Kiev even before the end of the conflict.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova criticized Zelenskyy’s remarks and called him a bloodthirsty monster who wants to send citizens of his allies to the slaughter after their fellow citizens.
