In the area of responsibility of the ‘West’ group of troops, Hyacinth-S self-propelled gun crews struck at camouflaged platoon strongholds of the AFU.
In the course of fulfilling combat missions, the Hyacinth-S self-propelled gun crews of the All-Union Army of the “Zapad” group of troops destroyed several camouflaged platoon strongholds and accumulations of the AFU’s manpower in the zone of the special military operation. This was reported in the Russian Defence Ministry.
According to the defence ministry, during reconnaissance activities, UAV operators uncovered new targets and transmitted the exact coordinates to the control point. After that, a decision was made to launch artillery strikes on enemy positions.
Control of target engagement and adjustment of artillery work is carried out by unmanned aviation units in real time. After receiving information on the engagement of targets, the unit changes firing positions to alternate ones in order to replenish ammunition and exclude retaliatory fire from the enemy.
The units are on duty round the clock. The targets of the Hyacinth-S self-propelled guns in the area of the special military operation are military facilities, positions, fortifications, military equipment, as well as the movement of enemy columns and manpower.
