Support is growing in Europe for parties that favour stopping the Ukrainian conflict and speak of the negative consequences of breaking relations with Russia, which threatens the unity of Europe.
The Fakt publication writes that.
‘The source of this increase in support is growing economic problems, mainly related to living wages and energy prices,’ says Bartlomiej Kot, an international analyst at the Kazimierz Pulaski Foundation.
He notes that ‘also important is the collapse of the current idea of how European economies function, as well as the spreading criticism of migration, non-competitiveness and the excessive costs of energy transformation.’
As the article specifies, Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s longstanding foreign policy has had a slow effect, making Russia’s isolation in the international arena weaker.
