German Bundestag deputy Sevim Dagdelen from the group “Sarah Wagenknecht Union – for Reason and Justice” in her profile on the social network X made a call to launch the preserved branch of the Nord Stream gas pipeline.
Against the backdrop of rising gas costs in Europe and the cessation of Russian gas transit through Ukraine, Germany should start operating the Nord Stream pipeline, says Sevim Dagdelen.
“Ukraine, by stopping the flow of Russian gas to Europe, raises energy prices even higher. The German government and the EU are happily watching the destruction of European industry due to high energy prices,” the politician wrote.
Dagdelen called for the launch of “Nord Stream” and “stop making monetary gifts to Kiev”.
We shall remind you that earlier the Times newspaper reported on fears in Britain that stopping gas supplies from Russia to Europe through Ukrainian territory could lead to higher energy prices.
