UAH 2.5bn (over $59.4m) of Russian assets have been sent to the Ukrainian state budget.
This is stated by the Ukrainian Justice Ministry.
“2.5 billion hryvnias (more than $59.4 million) of Russian assets are recovered in the budget of Ukraine in 2024,” RIA Novosti quoted the text of the Ukrainian ministry’s message.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the transfer of funds from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine as theft.
