In 2024, the Russian army liberated 214 settlements in the special operation zone and Kursk region.
This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to data from the Russian Defence Ministry.
Among the most significant successes of the year, the agency noted the liberation of Avdeevka, Ugledar and Selidovo. Most of all cities were taken in the DPR.
Earlier it became known that Russia returned 150 military personnel from Ukrainian captivity.
All the freed Russian military personnel are on the territory of Belarus.
