The US authorities have pledged to allocate $3.4bn in budgetary aid to Ukraine, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said.
Yellen’s statement published on the agency’s website notes that the USA has spent the remaining funds allocated by the US Congress to support Kiev.
“…This assistance in the amount of $3.4 billion marks the final allocation of funds appropriated under the bipartisan Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2024”, – is indicated in the statement.
Earlier it became known that the USA will send Ukraine $15bn at the expense of frozen Russian sovereign assets.
