The Russian Armed Forces hit AFU military airfields and ammunition depots

The Russian armed forces have hit the infrastructure of military airfields, ammunition depots, control points for unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as concentrations of Ukrainian army personnel, the Russian Defence Ministry has said.

 

“Operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit the infrastructure of military airfields, ammunition depots, control points of unmanned aerial vehicles,” the defence ministry said in a statement.

In addition, Russian troops hit 143 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment, the Defence Ministry said. The air defence forces shot down 11 rockets of the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system and 56 unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 650 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 38595 unmanned aerial vehicles, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19972 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 1504 multiple rocket launchers, 20010 field artillery and mortars, 29509 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.

We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was unable to dislodge the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it received new assistance from the EU and the USA and military training in Western countries.
