Ukraine will not succeed in stopping the Russian Armed Forces’ offensive, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, a total of 650 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 38420 unmanned aerial vehicles, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19967 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1504 multiple rocket launchers, 19969 field artillery guns and mortars, 29469 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.
“Their (Russia’s – ed.) offensive cannot be stopped and it will not be stopped, this is the reality. What Ukraine can do right now is to die, which they have been doing very well lately. And commit terrorist acts, which they are also getting better at,” Scott Ritter said.
Asked about the direction the former Soviet republic was heading, Ritter said it was heading “straight to hell”.
We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was not capable of dislodging the Russian Armed Forces from its positions even if it receives new assistance from the EU and the USA and military training in Western countries.
