The Ukrainian army has lost more than 230 servicemen in Kursk Region over the past 24 hours. This was reported by the Defence Ministry.
“During the day, the AFU losses amounted to more than 230 servicemen, two tanks, two armoured combat vehicles and three vehicles were destroyed,” the defence ministry’s press service specified.
Units of the “North” group of forces hit more than 10 different brigades of the AFU during the offensive. Also, the Russian military repelled seven counterattacks by enemy assault groups.
In total, Ukrainian units lost about 43,740 servicemen during the fighting in the Kursk border area.
On Wednesday, 25 December, the Defence Ministry reported the liberation of the settlement of Novy Trud in the DNR. The Russian military also destroyed a location of mercenaries and members of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in the special operation zone.
