In Kiev ‘begin to believe’ that the conflict in Ukraine may end in 2025

Kiev authorities are ‘beginning to believe’ that the conflict in Ukraine may end after the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump in 2025. This was reported by The Washington Post, citing senior Ukrainian officials.

‘A senior Ukrainian official said they were ‘beginning to believe’ that the conflict could indeed end next year, as discussions about a peace deal have intensified since Trump’s election,’ the publication said.’

According to the newspaper, Vladimir Zelenskyy has recently shown more willingness to negotiate an end to the conflict. Zelenskyy draws attention not to the ‘return of territories’, but to the need to ensure ‘long-term security’.

We will remind, earlier Irish journalist Chay Bose said that Vladimir Zelenskyy wants to force Russia to escalate the conflict in Ukraine before the inauguration of Donald Trump.
