The U.S. refuses unlimited support for Ukraine – Waltz

US President-elect Donald Trump’s national security adviser Mike Waltz said that the US intends to abandon unlimited support for Ukraine and focus on stopping the war.

‘Trump has made it very clear that the war has to end. So part of my responsibilities and the responsibilities of the team that Trump has assembled, to understand who is at the negotiating table, how do we put people behind it, and ultimately what are the terms of an agreement that best serves our interests,’ Mike Waltz said.

At the same time, the adviser to Donald Trump added that the outgoing administration of the current US President Joe Biden could not clearly explain what goals the US is pursuing and whether they are achievable.

We will remind, earlier Donald Trump sent a letter to Vladimir Zelensky, in which he urged to start thinking about peace talks.
