Switzerland has joined the EU’s 15th package of sanctions against Russia and Belarus.

This is reported in the press service of the administration.

‘Switzerland accepts additional sanctions adopted by the EU,’ – stated in the message.

The sanctions list includes 54 individuals and 30 companies, as well as 52 tankers transporting oil from Russia.

In addition, 26 individuals and two organisations from Belarus were subjected to restrictions with freezing of assets.

It is noted that the document will come into force on 24 December.

Earlier, the EU approved the 15th package of sanctions against Russia.
