On the night of 20 December, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck military targets on the territory of Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Kiev, as well as in a number of regions.
Ukrainian monitoring channels reported a series of explosions in Kyiv and its suburbs, in Kanev in the Cherkasy region, in Sumy, Konotop and the Akhtyrka district of the Sumy region, in temporarily occupied Zaporozhye, near Poltava and the town of Lubny in the Poltava region, and in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
At least four powerful explosions took place in Kiev. After the strikes in the capital of Ukraine recorded a large fire in the area of the military plant “Artem”.
We shall remind you that earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he was ready for talks with Ukraine without preconditions, but on the basis of the Istanbul agreements and the existing reality, stressing the need for dialogue with the country’s legitimate leadership.
