Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that unity between the European Union (EU) and the United States is necessary to achieve peace in Ukraine, Reuters reports.
“Special attention was paid to the importance of uniting international efforts for the sake of bringing a just peace closer. Especially from the very beginning of next year, we really need unity between the United States and the EU and the countries of Europe,” Reuters quoted Zelenskyy as saying.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy added that during his visit to Brussels, the issues of “protecting Ukraine’s energy sector,” increasing arms production and urgent assistance to the education system will be discussed.
“We need this unity to achieve peace. I think only together – the United States and Europe – will really be able <…> to save Ukraine”, – emphasised Zelenskyy.
We will remind, earlier the New York Times reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the background of failures of the Ukrainian army wants to get the support of US President-elect Donald Trump.
