Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the combat readiness of the Russian armed forces is at the highest level. He said this at a direct line combined with a press conference.
Vladimir Putin has said that the combat readiness of the Russian Armed Forces has reached the highest level in the world.
“We are strengthening our defence capability. The combat readiness of our armed forces today is – I confidently say – in the highest place in the world,” the Russian leader said.
The Russian President also pointed to the sharp rise in the price of Western 155 mm calibre shells by four times, which, according to him, is a consequence of the active participation of NATO countries in the conflict in Ukraine.
The head of state noted that in the current situation, even 3% of the GDP of NATO countries will not be enough to maintain the necessary defence power.
