Secretary General of the Council of Europe Alain Berset arrived on an official visit to Tbilisi.
This is reported by the press service of the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
It is noted that the visit of the Secretary General will last until 21 December.
Berce will meet with newly elected Georgian President Mikhail Kavelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili.
Earlier, incumbent Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili reiterated her refusal to surrender her mandate after her term in office expires on 29 December.
