Sarah Wagenknecht’s Union for Reason and Justice party, which has criticised Germany’s military aid to Ukraine, has nominated its head Sarah Wagenknecht as a candidate for Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.
This is stated in a statement of the General Secretary of the party Christian Laje, the text of which is quoted by RIA Novosti.
‘In the upcoming elections to the Bundestag Sarah Wagenknecht will appear as a candidate for the post of chancellor from the Union of Sarah Wagenknecht (USW),’ – said Laje.
In mid-November, Wagenknecht said that handing over Taurus missiles to Ukraine would be tantamount to a declaration of war against Russia.
