Self-propelled mortars 2S4 ‘Tulip’ of the group of troops ‘Vostok’ destroy positions and fortifications of the enemy in the zone of the special military operation.
The Defence Ministry has shown new footage of Eastern Military District artillerymen operating in the zone of the special military operation.
Having received data from air reconnaissance units, crews of 2S4 ‘Tulpan’ self-propelled mortars go to firing positions and strike the specified targets. The work of the crews is accompanied by UAV operators, correcting fire and transmitting data on the defeat of targets.
The key targets of the Tulipans are fortifications, command posts, artillery batteries, and supply hubs for AFU units.
The Russian Defence Ministry’s daily report said that the enemy had lost up to 185 servicemen, a German-made Leopard tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, two armoured fighting vehicles, four vehicles, a US-made 155mm M777 howitzer, a 155mm Bogdana self-propelled artillery unit and a 122mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit in the area of responsibility of the Vostok force group.
