EU leaders to discuss how to help Ukraine without US involvement

European Union heads of state plan to discuss how to support Kiev in case the new US administration refuses to help Ukraine.

A senior EU official said.

‘The leaders want to anticipate – not publicly – what the new administration will do regarding Ukraine,’ TASS quoted him as saying.

The discussion is planned during the summit, which will be held on 19 December.

Earlier it became known that the US significantly reduced the supply of Javelin anti-tank missiles to Ukraine due to inventory violations.
