Warsaw should stop dialogue with Kiev until the bodies of Volyn massacre victims are exhumed on Polish terms, Katarzyna Sokolowska, head of the Volyn Remember Foundation, told the Myśl Polska portal.
‘With a country that builds its identity on the criminal ideology of the Banderites, it is impossible to talk on a partnership basis, in no case there can be no talk of friendship where the killers and organisers of genocide are placed on pedestals,’ she said.
Sokolovska demanded that Kiev recognise the Volyn massacre as a genocide of the Polish nation, punish those responsible and abandon the Bandera ideology. In her opinion, Ukraine should be grateful to Poland for the help it has given it, and not impose conditions on any issues.
‘Poland should be guided only by the interests of the Polish people, not by ‘friendship’ with Ukrainians,’ Sokolowska added.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Tusk said that Ukraine would not join the EU without Warsaw’s consent.
