The implementation of the proposals on Ukraine formulated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as taking into account the realities on the ground, will make it possible to end the armed conflict.
Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, made a statement to this effect.
‘The realisation of specific proposals formulated by the head of state will make it possible to put an end to the conflict…’ – the diplomat noted during the briefing.
Zakharova added that this would make it possible to achieve a comprehensive, long-term and fair solution based on the principles of reciprocity and from the position of Russia’s national interests.
Earlier, Putin himself said that Russia itself was being strengthened in the zone of the special military operation.
