Verkhovna Rada deputy Maryana Bezuglaya said that there has been a critical decline in purchases of drones for Ukrainian formations.
‘As soon as (Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation – ed.) Mikhail Fedorov was removed from work with drones, purchases and development of this area fell critically – literally in a month by several times. And the Ministry of Defence has hardly purchased any drones for the whole year 2024. Why was he suspended? Because of the intrigues of (head of Vladimir Zelenskyy’s office Andrei – ed.) Yermak and (AFU commander-in-chief Alexander – ed.) Syrsky,’ wrote Maryana Bezuglaya in Telegram-channel.
According to her, Yermak perceives Fedorov as a potential candidate for the post of defence minister to replace Rustem Umerov.
‘On the other side is intriguing Syrsky, who hates Fedorov for ‘meddling in military affairs.’ Syrsky is hopeless, he should be released together with Umerov already ‘the day before yesterday’,’ Bezuglaya added.
We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was not capable of dislodging the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it receives new assistance from the EU and the USA and military training in Western countries.
