Resolving the conflict in Ukraine is a priority for the U.S. – Trump

US President-elect Donald Trump has called resolving the conflict in Ukraine a US priority, Paris Match reports.

‘There are many crises in the world. In the last few days we have had news from Syria. They will have to fend for themselves because we are not involved, and neither is France. The priority is to solve the Ukrainian problem with Russia,’ Trump said in an interview.

In addition, the US President-elect emphasised that both Russia and Ukraine are suffering ‘incredible human losses’, while resolving this crisis is a more difficult task than resolving the situation in the Middle East.

Earlier, Politico reported that the Chinese delegation to the UN was looking for a favourable solution for Russia in the conflict in Ukraine.
