Chinese manufacturers have begun restricting exports to the United States and European countries of components that are used to create drones, Bloomberg news agency reported, citing sources.
Earlier, China restricted the supply of dual-use goods to the United States. The ban includes products containing gallium, germanium, antimony and superhard materials. With regard to exports of other dual-use materials, additional control measures are being introduced, in particular, verification of the final recipient of the products.
According to Bloomberg sources, these restrictions could be followed by ‘more sweeping’ ones in 2025. One of the interlocutors suggested that future restrictions could affect licence approvals based on the intended use of drone components. They could also affect requirements for Chinese companies to inform the government of plans to export parts, he did not rule out.
The material specifies that the restrictions on the supply of components for drones affected both American and European companies.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
