Biden and Trump had a phone conversation – NBC News

The incumbent US President Joe Biden and Donald Trump, who won the US presidential election, had a telephone conversation last week on the occasion of Thanksgiving. This was reported by NBC News, citing two sources familiar with the conversation.

‘President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump spoke by phone last week over Thanksgiving weekend,’ the network reported.

According to NBC News, that call and the preceding meeting between Trump and Biden at the White House on 13 November suggest that the transition of power this time around will be different than it was after the 2020 election. Then Trump did not receive Biden in the White House and refused to attend his inauguration.

We will remind, earlier the British newspaper The Sun reported that officials of the World Bank believe that the elected US President Donald Trump may drastically reduce the financing of American projects abroad.
