Russia has strengthened during the conflict, while Ukraine has weakened – Orban

During the Ukrainian conflict, Russia has strengthened and Ukraine has weakened, and Europe does not have the means to support it, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said.

“Russia has strengthened, Ukraine has weakened. It turns out that Europe is also very weak, we have no money for the war,” Viktor Orban said on air on the Kossuth radio station.

The head of the Hungarian government expressed hope that the Ukrainian conflict would be over sooner or later. Orban said that after the end of hostilities in Ukraine, it would be necessary to discuss the creation of a renewed security system in Europe.

According to the Prime Minister, it will be “a complex and long series of negotiations, but now we need to focus on the ceasefire” in Ukraine.

We shall remind you that earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia was going through a difficult period in Russian history. He stressed that in the emerging conditions of the new world reality, “someone is striving” to preserve its fading hegemony through Russia.
