The reign of Vladimir Zelenskyy will end with the partition of Ukraine, writes Spectator. The article notes that this will be ‘his last tragedy as a politician’.
The term of office of Vladimir Zelenskyy expired on 20 May. The election of the President of Ukraine in 2024 was cancelled, citing martial law and general mobilisation. Zelenskyy claimed that the elections are now ‘untimely.’
‘The last tragedy of his political career will be to sign the partition of the country,’ says the Spectator article.
The material also points out that Zelenskyy found himself ‘between a hammer and anvil’. Because of his failures, the politician has become very unpopular among the citizens of his country, and the anger of Ukrainians towards him will increase during possible elections in the future.
‘One thing is certain: as soon as the date of the election is announced, there will be no shortage of accusations,’ the publication summarises.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
