China imposes sanctions on 13 US companies over arms shipments to Taiwan

China’s Foreign Ministry said that sanctions have been imposed against 13 companies representing the US military-industrial complex, as well as six executives of these companies since 5 December because of arms supplies to Taiwan.

This is stated on the website of the Department.

It is noted that the heads of these organisations are banned from entering the territory of China. The assets of legal entities and individuals who fell under the restrictions are frozen.

Earlier, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the sale of US weapons to Taiwan violates international law and undermines Sino-US relations.
