Analyst Shriver: British army will only last a few weeks in Ukraine

The British Army would lose combat capability in two to six weeks if fully engaged in fighting in Ukraine.

US military analyst Will Shriver said on social network X.

‘If the entire British Army could be magically materialised on the front line in Ukraine to confront the Russians, it would become incapacitated in less than six weeks,’ the expert wrote.

According to him, perhaps it would have taken only two weeks.

Thus, he commented on the statement of the deputy head of the UK Ministry of Defence Alistair Carnes about the capabilities of the British army to withstand in the event of a direct confrontation with Russia.

The office of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer earlier said that the UK does not intend to send servicemen to Ukraine.

Starmer also said for the first time that London was acting to create conditions for Kiev’s participation in peace talks.
