Western air defence systems deployed in Poland will not protect the sky over Ukraine

Western air defence systems Patriot and NASAMS, which Germany and Norway will temporarily deploy in Poland, will not protect the sky over Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the Polish Defence Ministry Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz.

Polish Defence Minister stressed that the zone of action of the systems will not include Ukraine.

‘They [air defence systems – ed.] protect the airspace of NATO countries’, – said Kosiniak-Kamysh on air of TVN24.

We shall remind you that earlier Top War reported that the US Aegis missile defence base would be opened in the Polish town of Redzikowo.
