NATO secretary-general: we need confidence that there are people left in Ukraine to mobilise

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has said that the alliance needs to be sure that there are still enough people left in Ukraine to be sent to the front.

This is reported by TASS, citing Rutte’s statement at a press conference following a meeting of NATO foreign ministers.

‘We also need to be sure that there are still people inside Ukraine. <…> We have to ensure that they are trained, that more people go to the front,’ he noted.

Earlier, Rutte appealed to the Ukrainian authorities to hang on to any talks with Russia.
