German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock has said that German soldiers could be sent to Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire.
This is reported by the publication Die Welt.
‘In the event of a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, German soldiers could also be deployed to ensure peace,’ the newspaper quotes Berbock.
Earlier, the German foreign minister expressed the opinion that the ceding of territories by Kiev in exchange for NATO membership could be part of a potential peace agreement.
