Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter has said that US President-elect Donald Trump should lift sanctions after his threats against BRICS. He published the message in the social network X.
‘If you want to bring the world back to the dollar, make the dollar attractive to the world. Stop secondary sanctions,’ Scott Ritter wrote.
He said the United States should hand over frozen assets to countries that are under economic restrictions and give everyone access to the SWIFT payment system.
‘Make the dollar available to everyone. Otherwise no one will want to use it. And no amount of your posturing will not change their minds,’ – concluded Ritter.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
