The AFU lost more than 250 servicemen in the Kursk direction over the day, one Ukrainian soldier surrendered as a prisoner of war, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
The total losses of the AFU since the start of hostilities in Kursk Region have exceeded 36,000.
On 20 November, the Russian Armed Forces completed the destruction of the Ukrainian military blocked near Olgivska Roshcha in Kursk Region.
The Washington Post described the situation in Kursk Region as “hellish” for the AFU.
