NATO’s rapid troop movement exercise has begun in Estonia

The North Atlantic Alliance’s Pikne rapid troop movement and air operations exercise has started in Estonia.

 

This is reported by Postimees.

According to the newspaper, the main actions will take place in the north and north-east of the country from 2 to 15 December.

NATO units will work out the mechanisms of deployment to the alleged conflict zone.

In particular, they will have to practise the deployment of French, British and Estonian forces.

On 30 November, Tallinn received six ships of the NATO naval group.
